Taskbar Change

I want to change the taskbar from the solid color it is to a bitmap image of
some sort. I don't want to "Skin" it, just change it whenever the mood
strikes. I have no idea hao. A regisrty setting maybe? Or am I overlooking
an obvious setting somewhere?

That would be considered a skin, and you'll need third party software such
as WindowBlinds or StyleXP to do it.
