taskbar arrows

Somehow I've lost the arrows on the taskbar,the ones that hide and
unhide icons, down below near the clock. How can I restore them pls?

Right Click on the taskbar and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar"

I have the same problem. Tried unchecking the lock task bar..did not work.
what else to try?

I finally got it, at least on mine!
right click a blank spot on the taskbar, click properties, checkbox
inactive icons(last one down), customize(right side) enter what action u
want for each one and ok out. The arrows should re-appear.
