Task Scheduler won't start

When I try to start Task Scheduler service I get:

Could not start the Task Scheduler service on Local
Computer; Error 1721 Not enough resources to run program

I feel like I have plenty of memory

This is symptomatic of virus infection. Scan with a current antivirus
program (meaning a version not later than 2002 and using updated virus
definitions).
