Hello,

I seem to have deleted from my system tray the task
scheduler. I am running Windows 2000 and have no clue how
to get it back there.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Task Scheduler does not reside in the system tray.
Do you mean Task Manager?

Right-click a blank area of the taskbar and press Task Manager.

No I do not mean the Task Manager. My problem is that my
Norton Anti-virus scan does not go off on the scheduled
time I have set up. I use to have the Task Scheduler
little icon in my lower right (system tray) but it was
deleted accidentally.

I am assuming if I get it back in there my Norton Anti-
virus scan will automatically go off again.

Any ideas.....

Thanks,
Rhonda

you mean the Norton task Scheduler and not the Windows task scheduler I
guess.... You probably disabled it :) It should be in the Norton Program
group and make sure you select the option to have it start automatically.

No it is set up okay in Norton Scheduler. It should go
off at 9 am on Friday's. I believe the reason it does not
set off is that the task scheduler is no longer in the
system tray.

Crazy computer things.....

I am running Windows 2000. The icon looks like It is a
windows box with a calendar and a clock on it.
