task scheduler help

Can any of you mvp's or other xp users help with this issue. Scheduled task
won't start task. Norton Anti-Virus daily scans, or backups won't start
automatically. When I open the task scheduler window, I see the scheduled
task and if I right-click on the task, they will run then. can anyone shed
light on the error codes? 0x0 , 0x1f and 0x65. None of these codes can be
found on my local help files. I've run Net Start and all services appear to
be operational. Help, please...
 
Scheduled tasks must be run with the credentials of an account that has a
password, by default. There is a work around for this, but it leaves your
machine vulnerable, as it results in a serious security vulnerability.
 
thanks for the reminder, about a passworded account, but I did set the
passwords for the accounts and each task.... I'm stumped.. any ideas would
sure be appreciated.
