Task Pane

Each time I open Word 2003 the Task Pane appears on the right hand side of
the screen.

Is there a way to make the default that it does NOT appear.

If you have already deselected the "Show at startup" box and it's still
appearing, you need the TaskPaneController add-in from
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ShowTaskPane.htm
