Task pane disappears when viewing public calendar

we have a public calendar which we all use. I can customize view to add my
tasks to a side pane. but after a while this task pane disappears and to get
it back I have to close Outlook and open it again. Can anyone help please?

I mean after changing to contacts, inbox, and navigating around Outlook for a
few times - task pad disappears. I then have to close Outlook and when I
re-open it, task pad is back again next to the calendar

what do you mean "after a while" it dissappears?
