Anyone have any idea what the following error means when
trying to do a send / recieve in Outlook 2003?

Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error
(0x80040600): 'Unknown Error 0x80040600'

Using Outlook as a client to Exchange 5.5 and it is set
to do a send / recieve on startup. Every time I start the
client I get this message....

Hi James,

The Issue occurs if you have an outgoing email with the wrong sent
address. It Would be because the sent address it not correct or doesn't
exist. Since you have the Send/ Recive in the startup of outlook you are
getting the error.

I would request you to stop Send/ Recieve in the startup. Then delete all
the outgoing emails or verify the outgoing emails.
