Task Manager

Task manager doesn't work right any more - gives minimal information only - a
list of running applications only. Booting in safe mode and signing on as
administrator - I get full function Task manager as it should be -
applications, running processes, performance parameters, etc., with the
ability to stop whatever I want. Regedt showed no funky things in the
registry, unless I didn't know what to look for. Please advise, or refer me
to a fixit-program such as Hijack This. Thanx.

Hi carsonpass,

Sounds like your Task Manager is in what is called "Tiny Footprint" mode.
Double-click anywhere in the outer border area of the window and then the
tabs for the other options will return.

You're running in what's called "Tiny Footprint mode" or "Small
Footprint Mode." To change back and forth from this mode to regular
mode, just double-click on the border.

It got that way because you inadvertently double-clicked on the border
without realizing it.
