Task Manager

I have 37 processes running in my task manager on start
up.I imagine that they take up memory, am I right?
They appear to be letters followed by .exe.
How do I identify what they are?
And then, how do I know whether I need them running.
And then if some are not needed, how do I eliminate them
so that they do not start up with Windows?

Hi Larry,

Go to Start/Run/Msconfig/Services and check the box that reads Hide all MS
Services. Start your inquiries from there and good luck!
