I recently recieved a letter from my internet service
advising me to safeguard my pc from a virus and a
worm.the instuctions were to click the task manager
button and follow a few more set of instuctions.To my
surprise each time I clicked on the task manager it would
pop up and just as quick disappear.I tried this several
times with the same result.I can'y get the task manager
screen to stay up longer than 2 seconds.If anyone can
help me with this problem it would be greatly
appreciated.

The worm has already visited you, apparently.
