Every now and then my computer becomes unresponsive. I press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to escape and receive the following reply, "Task Manager disabled by Administrator". I do not know how I have disabled the Task Manager, but I would be grateful if someone could let me know how to re-activate said program. Many thanks.

The Easiest solution is to add your logon account to local administrator
group. Otherwise try this if XP is your OS

a.. Click Start
b.. Click Run
c.. Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK
d.. In the Group Policy settings window
a.. Select User Configuration
b.. Select Administrative Templates
c.. Select System
d.. Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
e.. Select Remove Task Manager
f.. Double-click the Remove Task Manager option

Good Luck!
