task manager

I cannot run task manager from any location, not run, not
at Ctrl Alt Delete. Please help. I try to do it and
nothing happens or the little green window shows up in the
icon tray but as soon as i move my mouse over it, it goes
away.

have you tried

CTRL + left shift + Esc

or what happens if you

Start
Run
type
taskmgr.exe
click OK
