Task Manager Programs

Matt

Hello,
When I origanally purchased my computer there were not that many things
running in my task manager. A few months later the same can not be said.

Is there a web site available that will tell me what all the programs
running on my computer are. I just want to look them up and maybe delete
some of them.

Thank you,
Matt

my computer. isnt there any place on can go to look them and decide if we
want it or not?

Go to

Start --> Run Type msconfig

Press ok

Click on the startup tab

In there is the list of programs that start up with the computer. Try
unticking them all and restarting the system. You can then start to add them
back in one by one.

If you download, install, and run Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com,
you can right-click on any running process to do a Google search....
