Task Manager gone

Can anyone help me, plz?
I had a pop-up come up at some stage and it wouldn't
close, so I opened my Task Manager using Ctr-Alt-Del and
pressed End Task.
Then I closed it.
Next time I tried to open it, using shortcut OR right
clicking the Task Bar, it says 'Task Manager has been
disabled by your Administrator'.
I AM my Administrator.
What is going on?
Please help

Try Start/Run and type services.msc. Scroll to Task Scheduler click on
'Restart'.

Do you have any antivirus software installed? If not I suggest you get one.
There are a number of viruses/trojans that disables the task manager and
other things and you've probably been infected by one.

Don't if that is what has infected you though.
