Task Manager disabled

Brian

I installed sp1 and now I can't execute the task manager.
The Task Manager tab has been disabled and if I double
click on taskmgr.exe the message "Task Manager has been
disabled by your administrator" appears. I can't find any
documentaion regarding enabling or disabling programs.
Does anyone know how I can enable Task Manager? Thanks.

It was probably disabled in Local (or Domain) Group Policy. Click Start ->
Run -> gpedit.msc. Expend User Configuration -> Administrative Templates ->
System -> Ctrl + Alt + Del Options -> Select and double click Remove Task
Manager set to Not Configured.

I neglected to mention the OS is XP Home Edition. I don't
have gpedit.msc. I changed the registry DisableTaskmgr =
0 and I still can't use the Task Manager.
