Task Manager disabled by outside source

Mark

When i hit Ctrl-Alt-Del or Ctrl-Shift-Esc i can not access
the task manager. I get a message that the administrator
(me) has disabled the task manager. I tried the following:

Start-Run-gpedit.msc-adminstrative templates-system- but
the "ctrl-alt-del functions" are not displayed.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

How to solve task manager disabling

I'm having the same prob.
Your way is right but You must go into User section and then admin templates; select System and then the menu "Start/End session" (I hope this is the rigth translation I've the italian version who reports "Accesso/Fine sessione".
In the right pane the first voice is Disable task Manager, double click and select "Disable" and all is again ok (at least in my W2k!)
Hoping this may be useful
