Hi,

When I CTRL-ALT-DEL to go to the Task Manager, the button is greyed out.
Therefore when I get an errant program I cannot forcibly shut it down. Is
there a registry setting that will enable this again?

I have administrator rights and am the only user of this particular PC

Thanks

=Which= 'button is greyed out? Afaic see the 'end task' and 'end
process' buttons are grey to start with. ?

Did you 'highlight' on one of the running task? You need to highlight at
least one running task in order for the 'end task' and 'switch to' buttons
to be active.

Hi Larry,

I cant even get to the Task Manager. I get the Windows Security screen
which gives you the options of Locking Computer, Loggin Off etc, but the
Task Manager button is greyed out.

Regards
