Task dates change when viewed in Outlook Today folder?

I am setting dates on Tasks in the tasks folder but the dates change when
viewed in the Outlook Today folder (Outlook 2002). This is the first screen
that comes up when opening Outlook. If I click on the individual task, it
shows up as the correct date but still changes when viewed in the today
folder.
I need the task dates to show up correctly in this view as opposed to having
to go to each task to see the due date.

When you say the dates "change" does that mean one view shows you Start
Date and the other shows you Due date.

It is the due date that changes. For example, when I create the task, i set
the due date for 10/11/05. Then when I view the same task in "outlook today"
in the Tasks column, it shows the task as being due on the 09/11/05...

I have created several different tasks with varying due dates, but they all
appear to be set for a day before the orginal saved date.

The computer is networked, but the other 2 networked PCs are okay.
