task bar

my task bar moved to the right side of the screen, from
the bottom. I want it back there. I've tried
positioning the curser at the edge, where the double
arrow appears, but it only moves it wider and narrower.
How do I get it back on the bottom where it belongs.

Hello

Right click on the Toolbar and first ensure that it is not "locked." You
can then click on the Toolbar in the middle and simply drag it back to the
bottom of the screen.

You were so close , don't position your mouse at the
edge, put in smack in the middle of the taskbar ( left
click and hold it down ) and drag from the middle on the
right side to the middle at the bottom. I hear that
complaint all the time.

It's a drag and drop thing. Place cursor on taskbar (in
middle) and drag it to where you want it.

It doesn't *belong* on the bottom. Although by default the task
bar appears on the bottom of the screen, it can be on any of the
sides you prefer it on. To move it from any side to another,
simply click on an unused part of it (*not* the edge) and drag it
where you want it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on
it and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
