Task Bar

I don't know what I did but the task bar is enlarged on my desktop. I
tried to reduce it by getting the double arrow cursor on the top part
and tried to decrease it by pulling down. It won't reducde. What can
I do to make it smaller as it was before?

It might be locked.

Right click on a free area of the task bar and see if "Lock the task
bar" has a tick next to it. If so, sleect it with the left mouse
button then try resizing it again.

You have two rows, and that's preventing the resizing. (If it was
locked, you wouldn't get the resize pointer.) Click the vertical
divider to the left of the bottom row, and drag it upwards to the right
till you have two tall toolbars next to each other. Now you should be
able to drag it down in height.
