Hi

I'm using a dell pc+monitor(e773s)and recently my taskbar seems to sink into
the bottom of my screen.everytime i switch on the PC the screen has sunk and
has to be corrected manually by the monitor buttons.
I have updated all drivers and intel graphics cards.
So fed up with it.

This appears to not be a true XP problem but a monitor setting issue.
You seem to be using a monitor with a VGA settings (DVI settings are
always done automatically.) The monitor either needs a correct XP
driver file for the video card to control the setting or the monitor
internal "controls" are not saving the settings you are applying with
the monitor "setting buttons." You might need to test with a
different monitor or on a different PC.
