task bar disappeared

task bar has disappeared on monitor. Tried to click on the task bar and start
menu on my computer and it would not open at all.

Start\Control Panel\Taskbar and Start Menu\Uncheck hide taskbar and check
Keep taskbar always visible

Scan your computer with Adaware, Spybot, CWShredder and install
SpywareBlaster to protect it. The problem may be due to spyware infection.
