TAPI error (80000048)

Can anyone help with this error I've suddenly encountered,. please. Unable
to create a Dialup connection withWindows XP SP2. Have had the system
working in the past. Have the checked the Internal modem on the Laptop PC
(2Ghz Targa) and it works fine.

Try to test the phone line and Remove the modem in the Device manager and
then reboot and let windows install the driver for it.
