Tan x graph

I need to draw the graph of tan x, which involves the use of infinity.
Can anyone tell me either how to display the infinity sign or
alternatively how to represent tan x in graph form in excel.

I use Excel XP
If I use Arial Font

type 221E then Alt+X sand it gives me the infinity sign.

Not sure if this works on earlier versions or in other fonts.
