talking and web cam with XP

How do I go about changing some configures so I can talk
and use the web cam when I am using XP and friends are
using windows 98 SE???

In order to use your webcam with users on Windows 98, you'll need to either use MSN Messenger
6 (http://messenger.msn.com/download) or use Netmeeting.

If you mean something else, or have another specific issue, you'll need to be more specific.

It shouldn't matter the differences in programs (you: Xp,
friends: 98) what matters is if you all have the same
version of messenger. Look on the main messenger screen
under help, then chose about MSN Messenger. Compare notes
between yourselves and make sure your versions are the
same. Otherwise, make sure to run the audio/video wizard
under tools and check your web cam settings. Hope this
