Tag info via WMP9?

I recently upgraded from WMP8 to WMP9 and I'm no longer clear how to
get album/artist/track data from the web. Starting with a song
selected in Media Library, what steps do I take please? Or is it now
totally automatic while connected?

Also, is the WMP database still regarded as sparse? I once preferred
an excellent little program called Player, and that used an
alternative database called Gracenote, which rarely failed to come up
with data.

Gracenote is the new name for the CDDB. It is the largest music database, but
there is also the FreeDB. Gracenote requires a license fee, so that is why the
FreeDB was born. Some apps, such as RealPlayer 10 and iTunes 4.5 still use the
CDDB, but the majority use FreeDB.
