I don't really like how this site "TabletQuestions.com" gets a copy on their
website of everything that it posted in this newsgroup, and they don't say
anywhere on their site that the data came from Microsoft Community forums,
they claim it as their own.

They should at least say it comes from
microsoft.public.windows.vista.general

What does everyone else think about this??

Hi,

Many web forums slurp/feed off the microsoft newsservers. It's quite common
and has been going on for years. Whether or not anyone likes it is
immaterial as it's not going to stop.

content. ala blogsp*t.com

You think thats the only one? Check Google Groups, just do a search there
for your name and you will see it.

It isn't just that website. There are way too many websites that port to the
newsgroups and integrate the messages into their own forums. Trying to
search for a solution to an error message results in page after page of the
same thread on many different online forums. Some of these forums even make
subtle changes to the thread title and don't show the posters name in the
search links.

The only advantage I can see to using one of these online forums is that
they usually have forum moderators and a policy where they can delete all of
the troll/off topic messages, at least from their own copy of the thread.
