Tables | Sort by Date

Shevvie

My table data in PPT 2007 cannot be sorted - so I copied/pasted to Word, but
can still not sort by date.

Column fields are : Jan, May, Dec, Feb, Mar, Apr... (this sorts by alphabet
with April ending up at the beginning)

(I'm sure I was able to do this with 2003 version in Word!)
Appreciate you're help, thanks

Neither Word 2003 nor 2007 can do a date sort on Month names alone. You can
however do it in Excel. Abbreviated month names are one of the pre-defined
sort options. Paste the list into a column starting at row 2, select the
whole column and use the custom sort.
