table size keeps adjusting

I created a form using tables and using form fields. I
protected the form and the problem that i am having is
when the user is filling out this form and they type in
the form field, instead of the form field wrapping text
and making the form longer (height), it is adjusting the
width of the field, so if it is a long word, it's making
the other cells smaller. how can i fix this so that the
cell will stay the same size in width and grow in height

Select the relevant cells and choose Table > Table Properties. On
the Table tab, click the Options button, deselect "Automatically
resize to fit contents", click OK, and then OK again. Does that
help?
