Table Problem - Double Border

S

SPR

Hello,

I have a small problem in that whenever I create a table,
I get what appears to be double borders. There is a border
around the outside of the whole table, and another around
each cell, seperated by a small gap. - example on
www.blackslinks.com

What I would ideally like to have is a simple single
border around each cell, that would have no padding
between the cell borders. In a similar style to
http://loralciriclight.com/links

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Right click on the table and select table properties. You can change your options there.

You can change your options there.

Sorry, I cant seem to see the specific option to do this.
Theres a size of the border option, and a light and
(top/left) dark (bottom/right) option, but nothing that I
can see to change it as I would prefer.

Cheers

there should be options to change cell spacing/padding and the border
sizes/colours and also the dark/light borders.

What version of fp are you using? in 2003, it's "collapse table border" but it was a different name in 2002....I forget wha...
but you should be able to figure it out using "apply" to see instant results.....hmmmm..... was it "show cell borders"?
Anyway, what you are seeing is a border around the table and also around the cells which gives you a double effect. Experiment with sizes etc. until you get the desired effect.

Merry Christmas one and all. In Hawaii, it's "Mele Kalikimaka" and a comfortable 74.
