I'd like to have my table of contents display like this

Lesson 1........................................................1
Name of Lesson

Lesson 2........................................................14
Name of Lesson

I have tried have the Name of Lesson in a different TOC level, but can't
figure out how not to have the page number display. Does anyone have any
ideas?

Thanks,

Try reading the Word help topic (accessible by pressing the F1 key on
your keyboard) on Table of Contents. Too much trouble to press F1, huh?
Click somewhere in your Table of Contents. Press Alt+F9 to switch to
display of field codes. For the TOC field, you should see something like:

{ TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u }

Assuming you don't want page numbers at TOC level 2, then add \n 2-2
before the closing curly brace, so that you end up with something like:

{ TOC \o "1-3" \h \z \u \n 2-2 }

Press Alt+F9 to switch back to display of field results. Press F9 to
update the TOC.

garfield-n-odie has provided the basics. For more on customizing TOCs, see
