Table of Authorities Problem

When I mark a case in the body of my document for inclusion in the table of
authorities, the "TA" codes are visible on the screen (even with"show/hide
codes" turned off) and in the printed document. How do I get them to not
print??

I imagine that TA fields (like XE and TC fields) are formatted as Hidden.
The Show/Hide ¶ button toggles between display of all nonprinting characters
(including Hidden text) and those that are specifically selected on the View
tab of Tools | Options, so check there to make sure "Hidden text" isn't
checked. Also, on the Print tab, make sure that "Hidden text" isn't checked,
as that would cause the codes to be printed.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You saved the day, the week, the year, MY
JOB! (well, not literally.) But you saved me a TON of aggravation. For the
life of me, I could not figure this out. I had been using TOA's for years
without this kind of problem, but this suddenly began happening. I'm not
sure how these two check boxes became checked, but no matter--problem solved!
Thanks again! Hey, take the rest of the day off-- :)
