Table numbers updating from an excel table?

I have a table in word that I want its cells to be linked
to an excel document so that I don't have to manually
input these numbers in the word table.

How can I do this?
 
Hi Corzal,

Select the area in the Excel worksheet that you want to link to, copy it.
Then, in Word, select the insertion point and choose Edit|Paste Special,
choose the format you want (eg Excel Workbook or RTF) and the 'Paste Link'
option.

PS: You might also need to make sure that the 'update automatic links at
open' option is checked, under Tools|Options|General.
