Table entry subdatasheet filtering

I'm doing data entry directly into tables, with 3 level heirarchy, the
last level I'd like to have a combo box to select data which is
filtered by the above data selections but I can't seem to do that, it
gives me all the data regardless. How do I filter to select only the
records which pertain to the above selections?

More detail:

Table 1 -> City Data
Table 2 -> City Data Pickup Recycling Header (Plastic or Paper by date)
Table 3 -> Detail for Table 2 which includes City, Plastic or Paper
type, Date, and Collection Location <<< this Collection Location comes
from another definition table which defines all the locations within
each city. When I put a combo box on this Collection Location column,
it gives me all the values in the table, regardless of the selections
above for the specific city and type of recycling material.

If you know the answer I hope you respond as I'm doing this as a favor
for a friend and this project has taken more time than I have ... so I
just want to give her something that's workable.

Hi Amy,

you cannot do this using tables ... it is best to use forms for data
entry anyway ...
