Table cell - background fills

D

Diana

After numerous attempts of putting say, a nice background
in a cell, I cannot get it to simply fill the the cell
without it splitting or tiling. I just want it to fill
the space as it is (even if it gets distorted). I end up
with only a partial viewing of the image and I usually
don't like it. This happens with either photos or images
that I've drawn myself. I have to go to great lengths to
get the image the exact size of the cell or it won't fill
properly and/or it will tile (and often is shown more than
one).

If this isn't clear to you, please let me know and I'll
try to elaborate.

I hope you can help. (using FrontPage 2002).

This is normal, the image must be the exact size of the cell. Is the reason
you are doing this, is so that you can place text over the image?

PS
Or better still 2 px smaller than the cell size
