Tab Order

i am trying to set tab order within a table and i'm not
having much luck. how can i set the tab order to go from
one cell to another in the order i want the to go in????

Hi, Richard,

If you're creating a protected form, with form fields in the cells of the
table, then see http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/SetTabOrder.htm
for a way of using the fields' exit macro to control the tab order.

If it isn't a protected form, then you're out of luck -- you need a macro,
and there's nothing about tabbing through a plain table that would cause a
macro to run. (I suppose you could assign the tab key as the shortcut for
the macro, but then it would run every time you hit the key, not just in
this table.)
