TAB BROWSING

C

Clueless

Each request for another link opens in a new tab and sometimes the tabs
repeat themselves. When I close one of the tabs, the system sometimes closes
the one I would like to use or if I attempt to return to a tab, it gets
cleared out. So, I either end of with the maximum allowed tabs (which I do
not need) or I am constantly selecting a link which cannot be accessed again.
Hopefully, this is a clear explanation of problem

Here are a few general tips for a good post:
- State what program you use. You did not state it in your first thread and
you did not state it now.
- Never start multiple threads on the same subject. It wastes respondents'
time, which gets you very unpopular.
- Try to follow respondents' hints - don't ignore them.
- Think of a neutral name for yourself. If you select a silly name then you
set yourself up for the usual jibes.
- Read what it says here about good posts: http://dts-l.net/goodpost.htm

You had a couple of specific recommendations in your first post: To name the
product you're using and to post your question in IE-specific newsgroups.
You ignored both of them. Why?

Open IE7>Tools>Internet Options>Tabs>Settings>Restore defaults, or whatever
you want to do there.

Click Apply and OK on your way out.

Why did you repost in the same newsgroup again?

Please state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3).

Did you just install IE7?

If you're running SP3, which was installed first, IE7 or SP3?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)? Were any of these applications running
in the background when you installed IE7 and/or SP3?
