t40 laptop ibm 1gig microdrive

[t40 lost]

I can see the drive in device manager stating it works
and is functional, but how do I access the microdrive, do
i create a net use, or a share help lost on this one

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
click on Disk Management.

It should now show up on the right hand side of the screen.... if it is
already partitioned and formatted, all you have to do is assign it a drive
letter. If not, no version of Windows can 'see' an unformatted drive, so
format it and then assign it a drive letter.
