I've got a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop with 128MB Ram, Pentium 4 and a
20GB hard drive running windows XP Home edition. I also have Works 7
on it but no other software. It was really zippy. OE and IE opened
like a flash. Then I loaded on SystemWorks 2003 and it really slowed
down the browser and OE, though everything else still zipped along. I
tried using the speed disk function on SysWorks and defragging the
hard drive, but they were still really noticeably slower than before.
When I uninstalled SysWorks it sped back up again. Is there anything I
can do to make SysWorks run, but still keep my browser and OE runnign
along at the previous zippy rate?
