systems configuration utility

HI; I have a problem with configuration window opening at start up. Have
tried all resoures offer by Windows Help to no avail. Do not consider my self
capable of working with the register. Any suggestions other than call the
geek squad
 
Calling the 'geek squad' is probably the best thing a person in your
situation can do. Get the most for your money by having them explain what
they are doing as they are doing it. It was invaluable to me when I was a
newbie.
 
Did you disable anything using msconfig? msconfig.exe is the System
Configuration Utility.

If you change any startup setting by using System Configuration Utility,
that message appears every time you boot unless you click ignore or put
msconfig back to Normal Startup.
