I have read all previous messages and nothing has worked.
I just deleted a virus called Backdoor (something along
the lines of that.) Now a message stating "Windows cannot
find c:\WINDOWS\System32\System32.exe....." comes up. How
can I fix this. I've tried EVERYTHING!! :(

Of all that stuff said to delete I only found one deleted
it and it STILL came up...any other solutions?

Make sure you delete and edit all the registry keys that are mentioned on
the removal instructions. Clear your c:windows\prefetch folder also. And
clear you restore points also using disk cleanup, more options tab.

That's the virus you deleted. You're now left with a reference to
it that you also need to remove.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Fixes, Clean KWBot.Worm Registry
entries.

Or read
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.kwbot.c.worm.html
and pay particular attention to step 4 in the section headed
"removal instructions," near the bottom.

Well - you can't have tried the cure. . . Usually there is a line you
can find and uncheck on the Startup page if you run MSConfig.exe
