System32 Window

I am using Windows XP on a Dell 4550 and the System32
folder pops up both when I log on and when I launch
Internet Explorer. I have tried the "Kelly's Korner"
item 260 solution but I get a window labeled "Finished."
with a message saying "The script cannot repair your
issue. The expected Registry value was not found." What
now?? Thanks.

Check:
Start/Run/control folders/View/Uncheck Restore previous folder windows
at logon

hkcu and hklm

software microsoft windows current version run

find the c windows system32 data entry and delete it or
set it to blank entry
