I have a new computer using Windows XP Home. I got it up
and running last week and have been happy with its
performance. Today when I started the computer the
directory for system32 opens as a windon on the desktop.
It looks as if you had opened the directory with "My
Computer". More of an annoyance since I have to close the
window now.
