Hi,

How does the this work?

Can you use a valid smtp-server to send mail from 'whatever you
choose' to 'whatever you choose'?

Without checking? I Don't need to gife a username and paswoord of my
account.

Thx

I believe most mail servers are going to require you to provide a valid
username and password on them in order for them to send your email.

If you're on dialup, the reason you don't provide is that the isp knows
"you're dialed".

Probably the same for broadband.

If you're at work, and try to use your home smtp info, you're gonna probably
get a "does not allow relaying" message.

But every ISP is a little different.
