System Volume information and old restore point

Hi,

I have installed Vista on my computer et uninstalled Xp

In the Folder System Volume Information, i still have restore points from Xp
i would like to delete but i can't even edit their name or delete them (even
in safe mode).

The clean up tool can"t erase them. I tried to expand my rights but it still
doesn't work to delete them.

Is their a solution

thanks in advance

Hi,

Turn off System Restore (advanced settings in the control panel/system
applet), then you should be able to access and delete the folders (though
you still may need to alter permissions or ownership). When you restart SR,
the folders will be recreated.
