A few months ago someone posted a little graphics tool that you could drag
a dropper from the system tray to any part of the screen and it would copy
the color-map values of that spot.

I've searched this newsgroup, but I couldn't find that tool that I lost
when my HD crashed.

BTW, this is not it: http://www.inetia.com/eyedropper_eng.php

Thanks!

Nah, it's not it. It really kills me because it was such a simple tool, and
could have backed it up, but I figured that I would be able to download
another copy when I redid my partition by using the start menu shortcut as
guide to tell me what the application was called. Unfortunately, that entry
ended up as corrupt :(.
