How do I disable programs that constantly run in the
System Tray which are not needed. I have all of them on
my Quick Lauch bar.

I've never used any news group before and may not be able
to access this to check for replies. Would appreciate
an email if it would be too much trouble. TIA!!

If they are starting automatically then disable them in
the startup file : start>run>msconfig>startup> , Here you
can edit what starts when you bootup. At this web site
you will find a full list of all start up files and what
they are , best to check them before disabling.

On each program you don't want to start automatically, check its
Options to see if it has the choice not to start. Many can easily
and best be stopped that way. If that doesn't work, run MSCONFIG
from the Start | Run line, and on the Startup tab, uncheck the
programs you don't want to start automatically.

Sorry, no. I don't do E-mail support.
