System State Restore

After performing a system state restore on a member server it does not let me
logon as administrator of the domain but will let me logon as local
administrator.
Is this by design or did I do something wrong?
 
Are you able to log in with any domain account?

Can you see the machine in AD?

Try removing and rejoining it to the domain.
 
probably the trust between machine account and the domain is broken. Rejoin
the machine to the domain.
 
No, no successful logon with any domain account.
