System State Data Restore

We plan to change our domain controller and replace it
with a brand new one. The original server name is
server.mydomain.com and we plan to create a new domain
controller and named it to myserver.mydomain.com. My
question is that can I copy the system state data backup
of my original domain controller (server.mydomain.com) and
restore it to my new domain controller
(myserver.mydomain.com) which will replace the older one?
Do I have to recreate my DNS Zones configuration and DHCP
Setup in the new domain controller? Thanks a lot!
